Diet etc.

Yogi is a mixed Himalayan Dwarf. He is born all white with blue eyes. At around 5 weeks his ears starting growing grey hairs. And around 9 weeks at his left side of the face right beside his nose he is developing some pattern of black hair. His tail is growing some black hair and so is his butt. Yogi also have some black hair at his stomach. He lives in a play pen and gets daily exercise around 2-4 hours and sometimes almost the whole day, there were times Yogi was out of the playpen for more than 4 hours. He sleeps in the play pen at night. Yogi do not get excess to whole house all the time because my house flooring is very slippery for Yogi and he usually slide around and can fall easily.
Yogi is now 10 weeks old. Born on 13 January 2013.

Temperament: Since young, Yogi is very laid-back, pretty much sleep. But there are times when he gets so active too. Sometimes during playtime he ends up sleeping. But also, Yogi is very timid, he gets scared so easily! He is scared of the vacuum. He is also a very curious little thing. Back when he was younger he flopped everyday but now he flop few times per week. Probably because he is heavier now and he seen more of the world. But basically Yogi get scared over little things like the mop, the curtain, window grill and also the hanging clothes. He sees the curtain as something coming over to eat it or what.

 Yogi at 10 Weeks.

Recent pictures of Yogi.

Hay: Oxbow Alfalfa Hay (Unlimited daily), Timothy hay (sparingly)

Pellets: Oxbow Young Bunny Pellets (Unlimited daily since Yogi is still growing)

Cooked Plain water for him daily, vitamin drink for him on certain days.

Complimentary food:  Burgess Gnaw Sticks; Given to Yogi anytime he wants to but some other things that are not meant for biting.

Cunipic Naturaliss Rabbit treats; Additional treats given once every 1-2 weeks or so.

Burp handmade blueberry and strawberry cookies; Since it contains yogurt, given to Yogi very sparingly but he loves it!

M&C Treat Ums for hairball; Given in very little amount, torn in small tiny pieces to mix with pellets during non shedding period. Shedding period; given daily in very small tiny torn pieces. (This product may give mild odor to the rabbits poop.)

Fresh treats: Green Apple; given rarely due to the high level of sugar but Yogi loves this so so much, (Yogi was given this back when we wanted to toilet train him.)
Carrot; Given rarely due to high sugar level, Yogi prefers green apple over carrots.
Mint leaves; Given one leaves per week but stopped. (Just wanted to see if Yogi loves mint leave, to prepare him for his future diet.) And Yogi love them.

Bedding/Litter: For the flooring of his playpen, dog sheet are used. For litter; Back 2 Nature and Pets dream.
Both litter are made of recycled paper as they are Eco friendly and biodegradable  But i prefer Back 2 Nature as they are better at preventing odor than Pets Dream. I can still smell some odor with Pets dream. But Pets dream are more pressed and compact so the chances of it getting to your Buns butt are very low as compared to Back 2 Nature. As Back 2 Nature litter aren't pressed enough so they can crumble easily.

Toys: Super pet strawberry biting: Yogi loves to bite this but he ends up eating them thus the Burgess gnaw sticks are better for him.
Marukan carrot loofah: He bites this and scratch it and ate some of it but know he no longer plays with it.
Burp strawberry mineral bites: He bites this like crazy!! But all depends on his mood.
Jolly Pet Sandal hut large, he bites this, eat them, dig them, and whatever not but also depends on his mood.
Long sticks and cubes of woods for biting, Yogi do not eat these though.
Cat pole for scratching which Yogi do not really care so much for now.
Some dog bone pillow and heart shape pillow.
Yogi was given a towel for him to scrunch but he usually gets agitated with it as the towels get in the way and he usually squeeze through the towel giving his eyes something so i took away the towel.

Brush: Pet Link
Oxbow Pellets have a very weird smell and this may make people thing that Rabbits are smelly when actually their food are smelly!
When Yogi gets older i will be giving him a mix of Burgess pellets and Oxbow T Pellets. Burgess pellets are more smelly than Oxbow but they give shine coats for your rabbits.

Even Oxbow hays have this weird smell which can get you sneezing.
As Yogi gets older, i will probably give him Alfalfa King Oat Wheat Barley Hay than Timothy hay. As OWB are better for their digestive system than Timothy Hay.

As for litter, between Pets dreams and Back 2 Nature i will definitely go for the latter. I will be using Breeders Celect soon as it is recommended by HRSS.
